The Village Emporium in Brentwood Bay near Victoria, B.C. is a very cool and intimate venue with seating for about 35.
John Carswell and his staff serve up a fine array of coffees and teas to go along with a tasty light dinner menu and range of dessert choices.
Also licensed to serve wine and local beers on tap, the Emporium has a great vibe all day long and live music or open mic nights most Fridays and some Thursdays too.

Ground Zero is a hidden gem music venue tucked away in a light industrial park at the east end of Parksville. Devoted completely to live music, GZAL hosts 3 or 4 live shows a week as well as open mic nights, jams and music workshops. This venue is one of the coolest on Vancouver Island wth a capacity of 80. The seating is great and the sound is excellent. The unique backdrop and vibe makes this venue a must see for musicians and music lovers.
